Artist

Gabriele Gambuti was born in 1959. He has been presenting a number of personal and collective exhibitions since 1995. In 2001, he was awarded by the Fondazione Ciro Mularoni Concert for Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture and recently he has been the protagonist of an anthology exhibition held in Rimini in 2008 entitled "Donne come fiori" ("Women Like flowers"). From the multiforme activity, in the last years he has followed an original new path using different techniques in the realization of large installations of wood, iron or ceramic, and pictorial techniques, which privilege the use of pastels and bright acrylics colors. The themes dealt with are related to nature and are characterized by their intensity and the elementary use of forms and phytomorphic motifs.
